Britney Spears Taking ‘Baby Steps’

Pop Icon Has Trust Issues With Her Family

Pop icon Britney Spears has been reconnecting with her estranged family, but has been taking things slow. The 42-year-old singer recently had an emotional reunion with her mom Lynne Spears, reports Mirror.co.uk.

Britney looked very happy as she cuddled up to her mum in snaps shared on Instagram. Lynne shared the touching pictures as they celebrated Britney’s birthday, with the singer seen hugging her mom on the sofa.

They added: “For Britney, it’s very hard, it’s very sensitive. It would be good for them to have each other in their lives. Trust is the keyword. Britney has a very hard time trusting people.”

The source claimed her trust issues escalated after she was placed under a 13-year-long conservatorship, which gave her father Jamie Spears control over her life.

Says Kareena Kapoor Khan, Pointing Towards Divine Figures And Shaktimaan

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan says that Hindi cinema has always had its unique charm, but catching up with Marvel’s level of storytelling requires a script, a vision and the right timing. Kareena has lent her voice to Black Widow in Marvel’s Westlanders: Black Widow, the third instalment of the Hindi Audible podcast series.

Asked why is it taking time for Hindi cinema to tap into something like what Marvel has made, Kareena said: “Hindi cinema has always had its unique charm, but catching up with Marvel’s level of storytelling requires a script, a vision and the right timing.”

The actress added India has seen a whole different league of superheroes. “India for that matter, has seen a whole other league of superheroes, from Shaktiman to Krishh. And let’s not forget, in a land where deities are worshipped, we even consider the divine figures as heroes,” said the actress.

“We’ve had epics like the Ramayana and the Mahabharata, adapted in countless ways. And talking about the kind of superheroes that have emerged in recent years, yes, in that respect also Indian cinema is evolving,” she said, adding, “Our industry may also one day witness a superhero revolution of its kind, and you can bet your last penny that when it happens, it’ll be nothing short of spectacular in its own right.”
