Jennifer Aniston Celebrates Turning 55 With Throwback Video Montage

February 11 wasn’t just the 58th Super Bowl—the date marked another very special occasion: Jennifer Aniston’s 55th birthday. And in honor

of that, the actress (who, fun fact, starred in an Uber Eats commercial this year alongside Friends costar David Schwimmer), shared a

montage of images that reflected on her life, including snaps from childhood until now. In the caption, she shared how she feels about aging

and turning 55, with help from a poem by Stanley Kunitz.

The video, posted on Instagram, included everything from iconic Friends days snaps to moments captured cuddling her dogs and playing (what appeared to be) Jenga. For all of it, Aniston had one simple word: “Grateful,” she wrote.

To continue, Aniston cited Kunitz’s poignant poem called “The Layers,” which captures the bittersweetness of aging. “I have walked through many lives, some of them my own, and I am not who I was,” it reads. It goes on, acknowledging milestones, losses, and triumphs, and ends with the line: “No doubt the next chapter in my book of transformations is already written. I am not done with my changes.”
