“Don’t forget Uber Eats?” More like “don’t forget your co-stars.”
On Tuesday, Uber Eats released a new Super Bowl ad on its official YouTube channel, which featured Friends alums Jennifer
Aniston and David Schwimmer. The commercial (currently the #2 Trending Video on the platform) starts with Aniston picking up her Uber Eats delivery on a film set.
“I didn’t know you can get all this stuff on Uber Eats. I gotta remember that,” the crew member says, to which the 54-year-old actress responds, “Well you know what they say, in order to remember something, you got to forget something else. Make a little room.”
Then, she runs into her former Friends co-star, David Schwimmer, who played Ross Gellar on the ‘90s sitcom. “Jen! Hey!” Schwimmer says as he walks up to Aniston, who portrayed Rachel Green on the show. When he tries to hug her, Aniston stops him midway and asks with a confused expression on her face, “Have we met?”
As the clip goes on, Aniston asks her longtime friend and castmate to “give me a hint.” Completely baffled by the request, Schwimmer goes on to say, “Well, we worked together for ten years.” Then, The Morning Show star (jokingly) pretends to remember him, saying, “Ten years? You were great.”
Schwimmer can still see that his Friends castmate doesn’t remember him. He responds, “You still don’t know, do you?” And that’s when Aniston admits defeat. As she makes her swift exit with her Uber Eats bag, she scoffs, “Like I’d forget ten years of my life.” Clearly, Schwimmer is still not over his interaction with Aniston, proclaiming, “I hate this town.”
