Jennifer Aniston Is Thrilled to Give Barbra Streisand SAG’s Life Achievement Award: ‘She Paved the Way’ (Exclusive)

Jennifer Aniston couldn’t be happier to give Barbra Streisand her Life Achievement Award at the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Speaking with PEOPLE on the red carpet at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Saturday, the actress, 55, said Streisand “was in my house since I could remember, I just heard that voice… there’s nothing like her.”

“There’s no one that compares to her and she paved the way for a lot of us women, all of us, actually,” Aniston added.

At the ceremony, Streisand, 81, will accept the SAG Life Achievement Award, given to actors who display the “finest ideals of the acting profession.”

SAG-AFTRA first announced that Streisand would be the 59th recipient of its Life Achievement Award in a December press release, describing the EGOT honoree as “one of the greatest entertainers of all time.”
