Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour will kick off March 1 in Oakland, California, and wind across the U.S. before heading to Europe in May. Further dates will be announced, promoter Live Nation said.
Nicki Minaj will play Little Caesars Arena on April 20, her first Michigan concert in nearly nine years.
The Detroit show comes as part of a tour supporting the rapper-singer’s new “Pink Friday 2” album, which landed Friday on the heels of hit singles such as “Last Time I Saw You.”
Minaj’s last metro Detroit headlining date came in July 2015 with a show at DTE Energy Music Theatre, now Pine Knob.
